Climate Resilience and Agricultural Value Chains
At SAWA Wanawake Tanzania, we empower smallholder farmers, especially women, to adapt to climate change while improving their livelihoods through sustainable agriculture.
We promote climate-smart farming, strengthen agricultural value chains and improve access to markets to increase productivity and income. We also support smallholder farmer groups and access to small loans, helping members invest in farming and agribusiness.
School-based children’s clubs help young people learn about climate change, environmental conservation and their role in protecting the environment. Through tree planting, they help restore ecosystems and develop the knowledge and skills to respond to climate challenges.
