Our Vision

SAWA envisions for society where women, young girls and children in Tanzania are treasured in such a way that their basic human rights and needs are met and sustained to improve their livelihood.

Our Mission

The Organization is committed to achieve its vision through provision of various interventions such as training, advocacy, and awareness creation among women and community members through collaboration with local and central government, Communities and other key stakeholders to improve the wellbeing of women, young girls and children.

Our Goal

By 2030, 15,000 children in Morogoro Region, Mufindi District, and other regions will benefit from quality early childhood care and basic education services, facilitated by socially and economically empowered mothers, young mothers, and youth

Our Core Values

1. Transparency : We will strive to implement the principle of transparency in all that we do; we shall do this by being open to our stakeholders and partners. We believe that transparency will facilitate building of mutual trust among stakeholders and partners as well as enhance cooperation.

2. Accountability : We are responsible for the decisions we make and the actions we take. We will be accountable to our partners and donors by conforming to acceptable financial management systems and giving them opportunity to evaluate our performance. Accountability will ensure a strong reputation of our organization.

3. Justice: We will endeavor to be fair to all our beneficiaries irrespective of religion, tribe, gender or political affiliation. The principle of justice and promotion of human dignity will permeate all our operations.

4.Participation: We will strive to involve communities, children, parents and other stakeholders in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of our interventions. By promoting participation, we will make our intervention more meaningful to those being served.

5. Quality: We believe in quality service provision. Quality assurance will be at the forefront of our interventions and will be reinforced, among others, by satisfying ourselves with manuals and content, delivery after training, ensuring that consultants use right materials and mixture

6.Professionalism: We will ensure observance of professionalism in service delivery. We shall do this by targeting skilled staff for the implementation of our interventions as well as adherence to acceptable professional values and ethics. Professionalism will promote good quality for our interventions.

7.Volunteerism: At SAWA, volunteerism is reflected in staff dedication, initiative, and ethical conduct in fulfilling duties and supporting organizational needs beyond minimum requirements. Staff demonstrate this value through reliability, flexibility, quality performance, and proactive contribution to achieving program objectives

8.Team work: Teamwork at SAWA is demonstrated through effective collaboration, open communication, and shared accountability among staff. Performance is reflected in respectful relationships, information sharing, mutual support, and collective responsibility for achieving organizational goals.

Location

Geographically SAWA office is situated at Kigurunyembe street on Southeast of Morogoro Municipality, along old Dar es Salaam road, 3km from the centre of the town, opposite Kola hill secondary school, Sinai Road and is 1km from Morogoro Teachers' Training College on the south.
