Our Approach

SAWA Wanawake uses a Community-Driven Systems Change approach, which places communities at the center of development. We believe that sustainable change happens when people are actively involved in identifying their challenges, designing solutions, and leading the implementation of programs that affect their lives.

Through this approach, SAWA works closely with local government authorities, community leaders, women's groups, and trained community volunteers to ensure that programs respond to real community needs. Communities are engaged throughout the process - from problem identification and planning to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

By strengthening local capacity and ownership, SAWA Wanawake helps communities build long-term solutions that improve health, nutrition, child development, protection, and economic opportunities for women and girls.
