Where We Work

SAWA Wanawake works with rural and underserved communities in Tanzania, focusing on areas where women, girls, and children face challenges related to health, nutrition, education, child protection, and economic empowerment.

Currently, SAWA Wanawake implements its programs in Morogoro Region and Iringa Region. In Morogoro Region, the organization operates in Morogoro Municipal Council, Morogoro District Council, and Mvomero District Council. In Iringa Region, SAWA Wanawake works in Mufindi District, supporting communities through various development initiatives.

Through strong partnerships with local government authorities, community leaders, schools, and grassroots groups, SAWA ensures that its programs are community-driven, inclusive, and sustainable. The organization works directly with households, women's groups, youth groups, and trained community volunteers to deliver programs that improve the wellbeing of families
